#44 - Lifestyles of the Rich and Mentally Ill in Big Little Lies

Based on the same-titled bestseller by Liane Moriarty, "Big Little Lies" weaves a darkly comedic tale of murder and mischief in the tranquil beachfront town of Monterey, Calif. Amidst doting moms, successful husbands, beautiful children, and stunning homes exists a community fueled by rumors and divided into haves and have-nots, exposing fractured relationships between husbands and wives, parents and children, and friends and neighbors. Told through the eyes of three mothers -- Madeline, Celeste and Jane -- the series' narrative explores society's myths regarding perfection and its romanticization of marriage, sex, parenting and friendship. Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman and Shailene Woodley star as the three prominent "mothers of Monterey."

Find Us:

Mental Health Podcast | Pop Psych 101

We have a Blog!

Ryan always had a Blog!

Join our support group

Facebook

Twitter

Instagram

Music :

Music from https://filmmusic.io "Darkest Child" by Kevin MacLeod (https://incompetech.com) License: CC BY (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/)

Music from https://filmmusic.io "Dreams Become Real" by Kevin MacLeod (https://incompetech.com) License: CC BY (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/)

Music from https://filmmusic.io "Too Cool" by Kevin MacLeod (https://incompetech.com) License: CC BY (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/)
--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/poppsych101/message

#43 - OCD in The Aviator

Howard Hughes Jr. was an American business magnate, investor, record-setting pilot, engineer, film director, and philanthropist, known during his lifetime as one of the most financially successful individuals in the world. He first became prominent as a film producer, and then as an influential figure in the aviation industry. Later in life, he became known for his eccentric behavior and reclusive lifestyle—oddities that were caused in part by a worsening obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD), and chronic pain from a near-fatal plane crash. Today we take a look at Martin Scorsese's vision and Leonardo DiCaprio's portrayal of The Aviator. Find Us: Mental Health Podcast | Pop Psych 101 We have a Blog! Ryan always had a Blog!
Covering the podcast The Shrink Next Door and questioning the ethics of the real life psychiatrist, Ike Herschkopf, had us wondering what Ike and Marty's sessions looked like. #40 - Ethics of The Shrink Next Door (Podcast)

When Journalist, Joe Nocera, realized that his Hampton's neighbor, Ike, had suddenly moved, he knew things were off. However, there was no way he could prepare himself for the story he was about to uncover. The man that Joe thought was his neighbor's maintenance man, Marty, actually turned out to be the owner of the property, and Ike, had been Marty's Psychiatrist for 30 years. This week we look into the ethical violations that Ike had to betray to find himself in almost complete control of Marty's life -- We look at this through Ryan's eyes, as a Therapist, and wonder where he thinks this relationship got off the rails. We also look at this through Mike perspective as a patient, who seems to understand Marty's gullibility. Up Top: We cover a news story. Netflix has just announced that they have edited the suicide scene from season 1 of 13 Reasons Why. Mike thinks it's a marketing scheme, and a bit late. Ryan says, it can't be too late.

Find Us:

Mental Health Podcast | Pop Psych 101

We have a Blog!

Ryan always had a Blog!

Join our support group

Facebook

Twitter

Instagram

Music:

Music from https://filmmusic.io "Killers" "Lobby Time" by Kevin MacLeod (https://incompetech.com) License: CC BY (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/)
--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/poppsych101/message

#39 - Bullying and Billy Hargrove in Stranger Things

Up Top: Ryan challenges Mike with a news story about mystics and psychics. A larger percentage of people are seeking out this kind of "Magick" than are going to therapy or to a psychiatrist. Mike offers that if it finds the person peace or healing, then he has no problem with it, but Ryan argues that some people are being swindled for money and should go the route that has science to back it up. The Show: Bullying: The definition of bullying How to spot a bully How a bully is made How to treat a bully The motives of a bully What bullying does to others emotionally Science finds literal brain changes is bullying victims Synopsis: This week we look at the character Billy Hargrove in Netflix's stranger things. Billy moves to Indiana, and isn't so happy with his new hometown. Through the course of the series we see Billy make fun of, attack, threaten and demean the kids around him. After his body was taken over by the Mind Flayer in season 3, we find out that Billy was abused as a child and is broken. Bullying is often thought of as a normal part of growing up and going to school. Tell that to a victim of bullying. Now, in the age of social media, bullying is the worst it's ever been, with kids unable to escape the threats from their classmates.

Find Us:

Mental Health Podcast | Pop Psych 101

We have a Blog!

Ryan always had a Blog!

Join our support group

Facebook

Twitter

Instagram

Music:

Music from https://filmmusic.io "Killers" "Myst on the Moor" by Kevin MacLeod (https://incompetech.com) License: CC BY (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/)
--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/poppsych101/message

+ Over-Analyzing The History Of Stigma
Bonus Episode: This week's main episode talked about a time-traveling alien, and that got us thinking. How was mental-illness, especially diagnosis that present symptoms of hallucinations, looked at throughout history as compared to the present. Was it ignored? Accepted? Ridiculed? Met with fear? #38 - Fighting Intergalactic Mental-Illness-Monsters in Doctor Who (TV Show)

Trigger Warning: Conversations About Suicide We had a member post a beautiful clip from, of all things, the TV show Doctor Who. The episode is called "Vincent And The Doctor", and features heavy themes of Vincent and his battle with Mental Illness. We took a long look at Vincent and the era he found himself in. The people of his time weren't equipped with the knowledge of what he was going through mentally, instead of understanding he was labeled a "mad man". He was also known as a very lonely man, maybe his status in the world added to that feeling. Vincent Van Gogh killed himself at age 37 with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Find Us:

Mental Health Podcast | Pop Psych 101

We have a Blog!

Ryan always had a Blog!

Join our support group

Facebook

Twitter

Instagram

Music:

Music from https://filmmusic.io "Our Story Begins" by Kevin MacLeod (https://incompetech.com) License: CC BY (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/)

Music from https://filmmusic.io "Relaxing Piano Music" by Kevin MacLeod (https://incompetech.com) License: CC BY (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/)

Music from https://filmmusic.io "Hot Swing" by Kevin MacLeod (https://incompetech.com) License: CC BY (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/)
--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/poppsych101/message

#37 - Adolescent Mental Health in Mid90s

Trigger Warning: Self-Harm This one brings a lot of nostalgia to the table. We're talking skateboarding, baggy shirts, small parties, and the Mid90s. Jonah Hill's the mid90s is an intense look at the life of a 13 year old boy who's growing up in an abusive household. Masculinity plays a huge role is in the issues Stevie is dealing with, as well as influence from his group of friends, and possibly even the role his estranged father played before he was even born. Synopsis Stevie is a 13 year old boy growing up in the 1990’s los angeles area. He seems like a sweet and kind kid, and he is, but he’s also angry and lonely and physically abused by his older brother, Ian.

Stevie is looking for friends, and he finds them in a group of rowdy teens down at the local skate shop. Stevie is taken. He immediately wants to be like them and buys himself a board with stolen money from his mom's drawer. His new friends nickname him sunburn and they all start to get closer to each other, however, in between all of this good fun, we see the dark side to Stevie's life as well. He continues to get pummeled by his brother, he is filled with anger and takes that out on himself with pain, he also starts smoking and partying.

There’s a lot to be said to the loyalty he finds in his friends, and we do see him grow throughout the summer, but we don’t land in a happily ever after place. We end in the hospital after a drunk driving accident where Stevie was hurt. Ryan and Mike play a game of "Killing or Saving" where Ryan asks Mike about an industry and Mike has to guess if Millennials are killing that industry, or saving it. #36 - The Diagnosis Trap in Brain On Fire (Netflix Original)

After missing last week's episode due to some struggle with depression and an day in the ER after experiencing Olfactory Hallucination, or, phantom smells, Mike is back. Wanting to specifically talk about how mental illness is treated in hospitals and Doctors' offices, Mike and Ryan take a look at the Netflix Original, Brain On Fire. The coin is in the air about how to treat patients who present symptoms that could be construed as physical health or mental health.

We have to remember how much red tape are in the hospital's way due to insurance; Doctors don't want to give us unnecessary hospital bills if they can't prove a reason for overnight stays or certain procedures. We also have to understand that those diagnosed with mental illness feel neglected when a possible health problem is written of as a psychiatric issue, and some mental health patients just want there to be a physical reason for their illness and are hoping that, just maybe, they can be cured if only they were taken seriously and given more tests. It's a tough one.

Synopsis: Susanna Cahalan is a 21 year old woman quickly excelling in her career at The New York Post. She’s happy. She’s falling in love, and for all she knows, she’s healthy. That is until Susanna suddenly begins to experience an array of health problems that are progressing at a breakneck speed, and, they’re unpredictable.

She shows signs of visual hallucinations, audio hallucinations, manic episodes, depressive episodes, paranoia, personality change, confusion, poor memory, and more If it weren’t for another symptom, the Doctors and hospitals might have written her off as Bipolar, or Schizophrenic, and located her to a more equipped facility. She was lucky though, she also had the seizures. Due to the incredible hearts and knowledge of just a couple Doctors, they were able to look past signs of mental illness, run more diagnostic testing, and figure out the neurological dysfunction that was torturing her and her family.

Find Us:

Mental Health Podcast | Pop Psych 101

We have a Blog!

Ryan always had a Blog!

Join our support group

Facebook

Twitter

Instagram

Music:

Music from https://filmmusic.io: "Your Call" - "Sincerely" - "Half Mystery" by Kevin MacLeod (https://incompetech.com) Licence: CC BY (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/)
--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/poppsych101/message

#35 - PTSD in Welcome To Marwen (Movie)

On April 8, 2000, Mark Hogancamp was attacked by five men and left for dead outside of a bar in Kingston, NY. After nine days in a coma, he awoke to find he had no memory of his previous adult life. He had to relearn how to eat, walk and write. When his state-sponsored rehabilitative therapies ran out, Mark took his recovery into his own hands. In his backyard, he created a new world entirely within his control - a 1:6 scale World War II town he named Marwencol.

Using doll alter egos of his friends and family, his attackers and himself, Mark enacted epic battles and recreated memories, which he captured in strikingly realistic photographs. Those photos eventually caught the eye of the art world, which lead to a series of gallery exhibitions, the award-winning documentary "Marwencol," the acclaimed book "Welcome to Marwencol," and a new identity for a man once ridiculed for playing with dolls. That's the true story.

Synopsis: Today we are covering the 2018 Drama/Fantasy Movie, Welcome To Marwen Mike is out today and Christine Michelle from the Antidotes: Stories in Medicine podcast steps in like a hero to keep this mental health podcast rolling. #29 - Finding Your Voice in Speak: The Graphic Novel

Ryan and Mike acknowledge some of the feedback they received about last week's episode on Autism. For this episode on Speak, they look at the graphic novel's intense portrayal of a rape survivor's story. Both Ryan and Mike are deeply affected by this moving and real story. Mike is angry about the subject and often has tunnel vision about reporting these attacks to the police. Luckily, Ryan has experience working with survivors and is able to explain that there is no hard and fast rule on what to do after an assault, only that it is up to the survivor to decide how to handle the situation.

Synopsis: Today, we are covering Speak: The Graphic Novel by Laurie Halse Anderson, Illustrated by Emily Carroll "Speak up for yourself―we want to know what you have to say." From the first moment of her freshman year at Merryweather High, Melinda knows this is a big fat lie, part of the nonsense of high school. She is friendless―an outcast―because she busted an end-of-summer party by calling the cops, so now nobody will talk to her, let alone listen to her. Through her work on an art project, she is finally able to face what really happened that night: She was raped by an upperclassman, a guy who still attends Merryweather and is still a threat to her. Survivor Resources: RAINN (Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network) NSVRC (National Sexual Violence Resource Center) SurvJustice End Rape On Campus

Find Us:

Mental Health Podcast | Pop Psych 101

We have a Blog!

Ryan always had a Blog!

Join our support group

Facebook

Twitter

Instagram
--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/poppsych101/message

#28 - Autism & Caretaking in Rain Man (Movie)

After a short conversation about the "Top Ten Happiest Countries In The World", Mike and Ryan breakdown the portrayal of Autism in the 1988 classic, Rain Man. This is an important subject to Ryan, because he deals with patients who are caretakers, and he's seen firsthand the frustrations that can pile up. Mike has huge opinions about the character Charlie Babbitt, going as far to say that ,Charlie, is his most hated character in cinematic history. Not too far off, is Ryan with a questionable rating for the portrayal of Autism in this film.

Synopsis: When car dealer Charlie Babbitt (Tom Cruise) learns that his estranged father has died, he returns home to Cincinnati, where he discovers that he has an autistic older brother named Raymond (Dustin Hoffman) and that his father's $3 million fortune is being left to the mental institution in which Raymond lives.
Mike embarrasses him self with an impersonation of Adam Sandler. The guys give a little background into how they pick their episodes and encourage anyone to join their mental health support group if they'd like to help pick new episodes.

Ryan and Mike go deep into the motivations behind Barry Egan's anger and social anxiety issues, which they believe have a lot to do with his upbringing, and especially the treatment he receives from his 7 sisters. Ryan gives us some examples of ways to deal with social anxiety including exposure therapy.

Synopsis: Today we are covering the 2002 film, Punch Drunk. Starring Adam Sandler as Barry Egan, Emily Watson as Lena Leonard, and Phillip seymour Hoffman as Dean Trumbell or Mattress Man.

Although susceptible to violent outbursts, bathroom supply business owner Barry Egan (Adam Sandler) is a timid and shy man by disposition, leading a lonely, uneventful life -- partly due to the constant berating he suffers from his seven sisters. #26 - The Therapeutic Relationship in Good Will Hunting (Movie)

Mike embarrasses him self with an impersonation of Robin Williams. It's very very bad. Ryan and Mike talk about Rapper Big Sean, and the backlash he has received for making his mental health public. The guy opine that we should start by believing someone as our first reaction, and rushing to judge someone is the opposite of where we should be headed.

The breakdown of Good Will Hunting gets interesting as Ryan and Mike's opinion on the portrayal of the Therapist, Sean, slightly differs. #25 - Intrusive Thoughts in Turtles All The Way Down by John Green (Book)

After Mike does a terrible impersonation of an angsty teenager, Ryan and Mike acknowledge that the theme of this book hits close to home for the both of them. They give us a heads up that the format of the show will be a little different, and they won't be doing a lighter 2nd half; there's too much to discuss about this spot on portrayal of intrusive thinking and OCD ( Obsessive Compulsive Disorder ).

They talk about the way Aza's obsessive thoughts are interrupting her daily life, and how she and those around her react to that. We get some further insight into Mike's battle with Depression and Bipolar Disorder, and the central reasons he attends Therapy on a continuing basis. We also find out that a whopping 94% of the US population report intrusive thoughts, and Ryan, even as a Therapist, is no exception.

Synopsis: Sixteen-year-old Aza never intended to pursue the mystery of fugitive billionaire Russell Pickett, but there’s a hundred-thousand-dollar reward at stake and her Best and Most Fearless Friend, Daisy, is eager to investigate. So together, they navigate the short distance and broad divides that separate them from Russell Pickett’s son, Davis.

Aza is trying. She is trying to be a good daughter, a good friend, a good student, and maybe even a good detective, while also living within the ever-tightening spiral of her own thoughts.

Buy Turtles All The Way Down by John Green

Find Us:

Mental Health Podcast | Pop Psych 101

We have a Blog!

Ryan always had a Blog!

Join our support group

Facebook

Twitter

Instagram
--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/poppsych101/message

#24 - Psychopathy VS. Sociopathy in Mindhunter (Netflix Series)

Mike and Ryan offer opinions on the glorification of serial killers in pop culture. They look at psychopathy and sociopathy through the lens of Netlfix's Mindhunter and strive to breakdown the how and why for people with Anti Social Personality Disorder. Mike and Ryan end up in a debate about whether or not, Holden Ford, is a sociopath.

Synopsis: Today, we are covering The Netflix series, Mindhunter. Based on the real-life work of former FBI Agent John Douglas. Starring Jonathan Groff as Holden Ford, Holt McCallany as Bill Tench and Anna Torv as Dr Wendy Carr

Set in the late 1970’s, Holden Ford, a hostage negotiator for the FBI, is put out to pasture and assigned the Job of teaching Cops around the country about criminal motive, with agent Bill Tench. #23 - Identity & Shame in Hannah Gadsby's Nanette (Netflix Stand-Up Comedy Special)

Ryan and Mike pause a moment to acknowledge that they are in fact straight white males, and being so, have a limited and possibly narrow perspective on this particular subject. They hope their perspectives as a Therapist and a mental health advocate can offer something to the conversation.

Inspired by this raw and real performance by Hannah Gadsby, Ryan and Mike look at the theme of identity; who we see ourselves as--and are we ok with how others see us? The other theme that strikes them is shame as a result of our feeling of identity. Hannah, gives us a first hand, and very real view into these themes, and like all the issues and themes on Pop Psych 101 they need understanding.

Ryan, offers up some embarrassing moments from his childhood that helped shape him into the man he grew to be. Mike talk about goobers.

Synopsis: In the 2018 Netflix comedy special Nanette, comedian Hannah Gadsby starts out her set with fairly standard jokes about coming out as a lesbian and what it was like for her growing up in Tasmania.

She shares important lessons we can learn from art history and whether or not creativity means you must suffer. Over the course of her special however, she begins to acknowledge that these self deprecating jokes are insufficient in letting her tell and fully take care of her story. She shares the stark reality of what it was like for her in coming out and how she was treated and ultimately abused several times over the course of her life, just for being herself.

She challenges the audience to sit with their own tension and to not let anger or laughter cover it up. As a result, Hannah admits she needs to quit comedy as it doesn't allow her to fully embrace and deal with her trauma.

Find Us:

Mental Health Podcast | Pop Psych 101

We have a Blog!

Ryan always had a Blog!

Join our support group

Facebook

Twitter

Instagram

Hannah Gadsby:

Follow Hannah Gadsby on Twitter

--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/poppsych101/message

To The Bone, is as intense a look into treatment as any pop culture they've looked at to date, even if the ending is a little too packaged for Ryan's taste.

Ryan and Mike answer listener questions about bulimia, binge eating disorder, and go over what an anorexic person would look like in real life, as far as symptoms.

Find Us:

Mental Health Podcast | Pop Psych 101

We have a Blog!

Ryan always had a Blog!

Join our support group

Facebook

Twitter

Instagram

Credits:

created by: RYAN ENGELSTAD

produced by: MIKE GRAHAM

Music Credits:

Killers Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)

Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0

http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/

Perspectives Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)

Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0

http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/
--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/poppsych101/message

#12 - Chronic Embitterment in The Muppet Christmas Carol (Movie)

Continuing our streak of Christmas and Holiday episodes, Ryan and Mike break down Scrooge Syndrome / Chronic Embitterment, otherwise known as Post Traumatic Embitterment Disorder. To keep things light, they look at this Mental Health issue through the movie "The Muppet Christmas Carol". The psychology behind Charles Dickens famous character is fascinating, and important to understand and empathize with anyone in our lives that reflect this attitude.

They talk a little bit about their new found reach to the nation, after signing on to broadcast on Dash Satellite Radio. Another segment of "Over-analyzing with Ryan" reveals deep theories about the possibility of Charles Dickens being the Father of modern talk therapy instead of Sigmund Freud who is widely considered to have pioneered psychoanalysis. Quotes from the Movie: Ghost of Christmas Present: If he's like to die, he better do it and decrease the surplus population. Tiny Tim: God bless us everyone. Ebenezer Scrooge: It's all humbug, I tell you. Ebenezer Scrooge: There's more of gravy than of grave in you.

Find Us:

Mental Health Podcast | Pop Psych 101

We have a Blog!

Ryan always had a Blog!

Join our support group

Facebook

Twitter

Instagram

Music Credits:

Killers Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ Music Credits: Perspectives Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ Phantom From Space Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/
--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/poppsych101/message

#9 - Psychiatric Hospitalization in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (Movie)

An exciting day for Pop Psych 101. We have our first guest-host, Christine, EMT turned Nurse Practitioner, and Host of the popular Podcast, Antidotes: Stories In Medicine, is joining us to talk about one of the great films in movie history, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. With insight from Christine and Ryan, we breakdown the myths surrounding Psychiatric Hospitalization, and actually give RP Murphy, a diagnosis fitting for real life; Anti Social Personality Disorder. Mental Health and Mental Health hospitals are important topics for a film like this to get right. There are a lot of accurate portrayals in this film, but one that we decide is just not based in reality, is the portrayal of Nurse Ratched. Mike remains fascinated.

Find Us:

Mental Health Podcast | Pop Psych 101

We have a Blog!

Ryan always had a Blog!

Join our support group

Facebook

Twitter

Instagram

Music Credits:

Killers Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/

Hero Down Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/
--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/poppsych101/message

#2 - Schizoid Personality Disorder in Lars & The Real Girl (Movie)

Every Monday, Therapist Ryan Engelstad, and Producer Mike Graham, take an example from Pop Culture (i.e. Books, Movies, TV Shows) that features a Mental Health problem, and determine if the portrayal is accurate and something we can use as an example for those with questions or even curiosity, or if the depiction of the issue is exaggerated and just for entertainment.

Lars, played by actor, Ryan Gosling, has an obvious mental health issue in this movie, and Ryan (Engelstad, not Gosling) thinks it shows signs of Schizoid Personality Disorder. Personality disorders are complicated in that, the person with the disorder, is usually unaware. In "Lars and the Real Girl", Lars believes that a full-sized, plastic doll is a real person, and his girlfriend. Mike has a lot of questions as to the reality of Lars' delusion and how his family, and the community around him, reacts.

Ryan and Mike talk a lot about finding support, and how people would actually react to this in real life. Also, they give us a bit about their backgrounds and how they met, and Mike lets the world know, that he is a sufferer of Mental Illness himself; a person diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and Major Depressive Disorder. Mike believes things are getting much easier as far as public opinion of Mental Health is concerned, but knows there is a lot of work to do, yet.

It's Mental Health Awareness Week, and the goal of Pop Psych 101, is to aid in the conversation and help normalize it's discussion. As usual, to end the Episode, Ryan rates the portrayal of the Mental Health issue at hand on a scale of 1 to 5, using "Real Girls" as his rating system, this time. Mike rates the movie, as a movie, on a scale of 1 to 5 stars.

Find Us:

Mental Health Podcast | Pop Psych 101

We have a Blog!

Ryan always had a Blog!

Join our support group

Facebook

Twitter

Instagram

Music Credit:

Killers Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/
--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/poppsych101/message
